1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Negar Beauty Box website (negarbeautybox.com), booking any service, or purchasing any online course, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services

Negar Beauty Box, operated by Negar Ostad in Montreal, Quebec, provides professional beauty services including makeup artistry, hairstyling, microblading, and beauty education through online courses.

2.1 Booking & Cancellation

• All appointments must be booked through our website or by contacting us directly
• A minimum of 48 hours notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling
• Late cancellations (less than 48 hours) may be subject to a cancellation fee
• No-shows will be charged the full service amount

3. Online Courses — Intellectual Property

3.1 Ownership

All course content — including but not limited to video lessons, audio recordings, images, text, worksheets, demonstrations, techniques, and supplementary materials — is the exclusive intellectual property of Negar Ostad and Negar Beauty Box. All content is protected under the Canadian Copyright Act (R.S.C., 1985, c. C-42) and applicable international copyright treaties.

3.2 License Grant

Upon purchase, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view the course content for your personal, non-commercial educational use only. This license is granted solely to the individual who purchased the course.

3.3 Prohibited Activities

You expressly agree that you will NOT:

• Screen record, capture, or digitally reproduce any course video, audio, or content in any form
• Download, copy, or save course videos or materials to any device or storage medium beyond what is provided by the course platform
• Share, distribute, or transmit course content — including login credentials, video links, screenshots, or recordings — to any third party
• Upload, post, or publish any course content on any website, social media platform, file-sharing service, messaging app, or any other medium
• Use course content for commercial purposes — including teaching, reselling, repackaging, or incorporating into your own courses or training materials
• Share your account or login credentials with any other person
• Use any technology, software, or tool to circumvent content protection measures
• Create derivative works based on the course content

3.4 Monitoring & Enforcement

Negar Beauty Box reserves the right to monitor course access patterns and usage to detect unauthorized activity. Suspicious activity — including multiple simultaneous logins, access from unusual locations, or abnormal viewing patterns — may trigger an investigation.

3.5 Consequences of Violation

1. Immediate account termination — your access to all courses will be permanently revoked without refund
2. Legal action — Negar Beauty Box will pursue all available legal remedies under Canadian copyright law, including but not limited to:
   • Statutory damages of up to $20,000 per infringement under the Canadian Copyright Act
   • Injunctive relief to cease distribution of pirated content
   • Recovery of legal costs and damages
3. DMCA / takedown notices — we will issue immediate takedown requests to any platform hosting unauthorized copies of our content
4. Public identification — where permitted by law, we reserve the right to identify infringers in connection with legal proceedings

3.6 Digital Watermarking

Course videos may contain visible and/or invisible digital watermarks that uniquely identify the purchasing student. Any unauthorized recording or distribution can be traced back to the original purchaser's account.

3.7 Reporting Piracy

If you discover unauthorized copies of our course content online, please report it immediately to Ostad.nr@gmail.com. We take every report seriously and will act swiftly to protect our content.

4. Course Refund Policy

• Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase
• Refunds are only available if less than 20% of the course content has been viewed
• The Full Beauty Bundle is eligible for a refund only if no individual sessions have been viewed beyond the first session
• Refunds will be processed within 14 business days
• Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations are not eligible for any refund

5. Website Use

5.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You may not use the website to transmit any harmful, threatening, abusive, or unlawful material.

5.2 Portfolio Images

All photographs and images displayed on this website — including portfolio, gallery, and promotional images — are the property of Negar Ostad and Negar Beauty Box, or are used with permission from the respective photographers. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of these images is prohibited.

6. Limitation of Liability

Negar Beauty Box provides beauty services and educational content with professional care. However, individual results may vary. We are not liable for:

• Allergic reactions to products (clients must disclose allergies before service)
• Results that differ from expectations based on course content
• Technical issues with third-party platforms (Thinkific, Cal.com)

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Montreal, Quebec.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
